2021 Chardonnay No.8 Stonebridge Vineyards

2021 Chardonnay No.8 Stonebridge Vineyards

Named for the stone bridge that connects the two vineyard blocks on both sides of the Napa River tributary where this vineyard sits, our Stonebridge Chardonnay has just the right amount of texture and body for fans of full-flavored juice, with enough acid to pierce through anything that makes it drinkable on any occasion. This old stone bridge was built by the original family who settled on the property, dating back to 1912.

The Stonebridge Chardonnay has just enough weight and texture for full-flavor lovers, but also enough acid to keep it exciting. It’s in a lovely drinking window and there is a buttery element after spending 10 months in french oak barrels, which have also added to the overall richness. Look out for stone fruits, a touch of jasmine and a citric finish on this wonderful wine.

2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve No.5

2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve No.5

The two vineyards that grow the fruit that goes into this wine are the things that Cabernet dreams are made of. Our Oakville source lies in the heart of the Oakville Bench on the western side of the AVA just a stone’s throw from the Napa River, delivering an opulence and concentration that serves as the baseline for this fabulous offering. With the additional fruit sourced from Rutherford and St. Helena appellations, the wine comes together as a beacon of Napa Valley’s finest, serving as a formidable reminder of why this region is the world’s best for making Cabernet of the highest order.

Intense aromas of creme de cassis, black cherry, grilled plums and black truffle set the stage for an exquisite aromatic experience, only to be outdone by a rich and unctuous palate full of dark fruits, cassis, spiced cedar, and loam. Perfectly balanced and backed by utterly refined tannins, the wine is aged for 18 months in 100% new French Oak, providing nuance and depth all wrapped in balance and harmony. As we revisit this wine time and time again, it continues to define itself as one of our best wines to date.

2020 Proprietary Red Reserve No.3 Blueline Vineyards

There’s always a wild child in the family, and Blueline No 3 stands proud under that identity. Using the same Cabernet and Merlot as its No 8 sibling, we replace Malbec with Zinfandel from one of St. Helena’s most prized vineyards, creating a Proprietary Red that is unlike any other in the Napa Valley. It’s Zinfandel’s unique briary personality that brings a profound flavor profile to the table, while still being rooted in the classic flavors of Napa Valley define the region.

Gothic in the glass and ready to take on all comers, powerful aromatics of blackberry cobbler, blueberry preserves, violets, cocoa powder and vanilla lead into a richly dense palate of dark fruits, baking spice, savory minerals and briary tones that straddle the beautiful line between harmony and hedonism. Aged in 60% new French Oak for 18 months, the intense medley of blue and black fruits complement the smooth finish, all wrapped in supple tannins that dance across the palate.
